  • How to pronounce them intelligibly

  • How to show cold and hot things

  • Tell about their preferences or dislikes saying 3-4 sentences

- name at least 6 words

- complete 80% of the tasks correctly

Warm up activity

Teacher starts a game with the game. She hides pictures of tomato, potato, onion, grapes, cabbage, apple, banana somewhere in safe places in the classroom before the students come in.

When the lesson starts teacher asks to find vegetables in the classroom. Students are looking for them moving. If students come close to the places with hidden pictures, she says hot and vice versa for cold.

Introducing material

T shows the pictures of hot and cold in colours. Then asks students to prepare two pencils blue and red. Teacher presents the names of food and asks “Do you like hot porridge or cold porridge?” Learners answer showing blue or red colour. I like … / I don’t like …”

After this exercise, sts should pronounce all of the food after the teacher.

Logical task

Teacher distributes worksheet 1. Sts should draw and write the following food in the logical order. The second task is given to choose one option.


Then sts will interview two learners about their preferences. They should ask question “Do you like….?” and have an answer: “Yes, I do” or “No, I don’t “ and fill the table.
