Using handout from previous lesson on dialogues, learners can work in pairs or the teacher can direct to ask and answer questions in a circle.

Learners may act out them.

Leaners look at the pictures and sort into animals which hunt during the day and animals which hunt at night. They try to guess.

Pre-teach the word ‘to hunt’.

Teacher gives Learners didactic material 1 in orders them to compare their answers. Read aloud the words.

Making notes on Worksheets 1- meaning of the words Nocturnal, Diurnal

Ph. Training

Leaners watch the video-song about Nocturnal Animals and name them after the video-watching.

Practice. Reading

Look at the pictures next to the story, the headline. What do you think the story is about?

Leaners read the story ‘Why Bat Has no Friends’ with the teacher. Explain when necessary to ensure that Leaners understand the tale.

Ask Leaners to underline the words they do not know and make notes.
