Kazakhstan’s way – 2050:

We have to develop
Kazakhstan’s main goal will always be to prevent poverty growth. The State will bear full responsibility for targeted support of socially vulnerable groups: retirees, disabled, ill children and others. By expanding the list of individual needs with the inclusion of education and healthcare items (including for the unemployed and disabled for their better socialization), healthy nutrition and healthy lifestyle, meeting intellectual and information needs.
It is important to remember that Kazakhstan is a multiethnic society and there should be no double standards when it come to interethnic relations. All citizens should be equal in the eyes of the State, and no one should be discriminated against on the basis of ethnicity or other features. College enrollment, employment or career promotion should never be influenced by someone’s ethnicity.
Kazakhstan’s next phase of industrialization aims to redouble its efforts toward technological gains. As a result of these efforts, the share of non-energy exports must double by 2025, and triple by 2040. These innovations will be fueled by the development of Kazakhstan’s two leading innovation clusters – Nazarbayev University and the Park of Innovation Technologies.
In regards to agriculture and water needs, Kazakhstan must increase crop yield and Introduce advanced extraction technology and prudent use of underground water reserves that are abundant.
In regards to promoting national interests, strengthening regional security by all means is critical to Kazakhstan’s continued prosperity. The government needs to diversify its foreign policy and develop economic and trade diplomacy to protect and promote national economic and trade interests.
Kazakhstan needs to create the necessary conditions and prerequisites to enable individual entrepreneurs and small business to grow into medium sized businesses. Unfortunately, the current tax code prevents growth by placing too high of a tax burden on innovative companies. International experience demonstrates that the consolidation of entrepreneurs within Chambers is one of the important factors in the generation of new ideas and new industries.
It is critical that Kazakhstan develop engineering education programs that provide students superior preparation in modern technical specialties with international standard certifications. Vocational and higher education should be oriented to the current and prospective demands of the national economy, this will assist in ensuring that all citizens receive relevant educations and it will also relive un employment issues in the future. We expect to implement modernization of teaching methods and actively develop online education systems, creating regional school centers.
The essence of Kazakhstan’s new economic policy is a renewed focus on universal economic pragmatism. In order to meet it’s goal Kazakhstan must adopt all economic and managerial decisions based purely on economic feasibility and long term interests. Discovering new markets where Kazakhstan can participate as an equal business partner and create new sources of economic growth is essential.
In 2013 Kazakhstan’s government has to implement concrete measures for moving responsibilities and powers from the center of the country to rural regions in order to strengthen local executive authorities. Through local authorities the government needs to provide the population with a real opportunity to independently and responsibly resolve the local- scale issues.
Mangilik Yel (the Eternal Land) has been a precious dream for many thousands of years. It is a dream of becoming an Independent Country that has equal relations with other countries and has its own place on the world map. It is a dream of becoming a happy country that allows its citizens to have fulfilling lives and to look at the future with faith.
We have made our dreams come true. We have laid the foundation of the Eternal Land. Kazakhstan only forward
